The Candle Ministry
At the left side of the Sanctuary there is a group of votive candles.  All are encouraged to light a candle and say a prayer for someone in need of support and love, in memory of a loved one, or for any intercession that touches your soul.  Many make this practice part of their Sunday worship experience.

Sunday Healing Prayers
Each Sunday the priest or deacon invites those who need personal prayers for healing or who are asking prayers for a loved one to come forward after receiving communion to the right side of the sanctuary near the altar rail.  There they receive the laying on of hands by the clergy and other “prayers” and are anointed with oil.

Prayer Quilt Ministry Are you a quilter?  Quilters who are part of this ministry make small Prayer Quilts which are filled with prayer by the congregations, blessed by the clergy and then delivered to those who are ill, recovering from surgery or simply in the need of extra prayer comfort. Both the quilters and those receiving the prayer-filled quilts are blessed.  Since the beginning of this ministry, more than 1000 Prayer Quilts have been sent out filled with the Holy Spirit.
